Penetration Testing for SaaS Teams in Germany

For international engineering teams operating in Germany, a useful penetration test connects customer assurance with changes developers can make. CyberSecurityArm provides English-language scoping and reporting, led by Florjan Llapi remotely from Tirana, Albania. Confirm your provider, language and data-handling requirements before commissioning work.

    Discuss your testing scope

Start with the product decision your test needs to support

A German customer requests testing evidence

Ask the customer which application, test date, provider criteria and report language it will accept. Agree the evidence needed for its vendor review before choosing the scope; a report is not a guarantee of procurement approval.

    A multi-tenant platform is expanding

New organisation roles, delegated administration and partner integrations can change who can access customer data. Scope representative tenants and roles so the assessment can examine boundaries that an unauthenticated scan cannot assess.

Engineering and procurement need the same answers

An English-language report can help an international development team work from one technical record. Identify any German-language summary or local-provider requirement early; do not assume an English report will satisfy every reviewer.

Web, API and supporting security scope

Define the application and interfaces your organisation can authorise, then describe tenant boundaries, privileged operations and sensitive workflows. Use representative test data and agree any exclusions before access is provided. Supporting cloud or identity work is scoped separately when relevant.

    SaaS tenant and role boundaries

Assess customer-to-customer access, administrator permissions, invitations, account recovery and business workflows using agreed roles and test tenants. Make intended access rules explicit so findings can be assessed against the product's design.

    APIs and customer integrations

Examine REST or GraphQL object and function access, tokens, privileged actions and integration accounts. Agree which third-party endpoints are excluded and which interfaces your team controls.

    Cloud identity and configuration

Where the product depends on cloud permissions or exposed services, agree the accounts, identities and configuration areas included. Distinguish configuration review from active testing and obtain the necessary permissions.

Internal identity where it affects the service

If internal access or Active Directory is relevant to the engagement, define connectivity, test accounts and authorised attack paths as a separate scope rather than silently including the corporate network.

Confirm language, provider eligibility and evidence handling first

This service is for buyers who can commission remote testing. English and German-language delivery are available; agree the language of scoping, reporting and the debrief in the proposal. CyberSecurityArm is based in Albania, not Germany. If your procurement requires a German establishment, a BSI-certified provider or another specific accreditation, disclose that requirement before booking. Individual OSCP+ and CEH credentials are not company accreditation.

Before granting access, have your security, procurement and privacy contacts approve the proposed access locations, test data, confidentiality terms, report transfer and retention conditions. Hosting an application in Germany does not mean a remote engagement keeps every activity or piece of evidence in Germany. Contractual and data-handling requirements must be agreed for the actual project.

The report can document scope, methods, findings and the status of agreed fixes for customer or assurance reviews. A penetration test alone does not certify GDPR or NIS2 compliance, replace a wider assurance programme, or establish that a customer must accept the provider or report.

Remote collaboration in your agreed delivery language

Agree CET or CEST working windows

Specify meeting, testing and escalation times using the applicable Germany time zone. Assign a technical contact and agree stop conditions, urgent-finding communication and how access issues will be resolved.

    Agree English or German deliverables

English and German-language delivery are available. Identify the people who will read the report and implement fixes, then agree the language of each deliverable and the responsible contacts before commissioning work.

    Set project-specific commercial terms

The proposal records the assets, testing effort, deliverables, exclusions and any retest. Price, invoice currency, dates and contractual conditions are agreed per engagement; this page does not promise a fixed fee, tax treatment or turnaround.

One technical record for reviewers and developers

Agree what the receiving customer or assurance team needs to see, then keep the technical findings useful to the engineers responsible for remediation. The report describes the authorised assessment at a point in time, including its limitations.

    • An executive summary in the agreed language explaining the tested product and business exposure
    • The authorised assets, roles, tenant scenarios, testing dates, methods and exclusions
    • Confirmed findings with reproduction steps, evidence, severity and remediation guidance
    • A debrief and any agreed redacted copy for a customer review
    • A scoped retest record distinguishing verified fixes from open or untested items

What to send before a Germany-focused engagement

    1. 1Identify the buyer and the provider eligibility, report-language and evidence requirements.
    2. 2List application URLs, API documentation, roles, representative tenants and sensitive workflows.
    3. 3Confirm that remote access from Albania fits your project and specify English or German delivery requirements.
    4. 4Agree test data, permitted systems, access handling, evidence transfer and retention before testing.
    5. 5Name technical and procurement contacts; plan remediation owners and any retest deadline.

    Direct practitioner accountability

Florjan Llapi holds OSCP+ and CEH credentials and leads the engagement from scoping through reporting and the agreed retest. The technical scope and buyer requirements determine the work delivered.

    Questions from buyers in Germany

Are you a Germany-based penetration testing provider?

No. CyberSecurityArm is based in Tirana, Albania and offers remote testing to teams operating in Germany. There is no claimed German office or Germany-only delivery. Confirm that this delivery model is eligible for your procurement before commissioning work.

Can we scope the test and receive the report in English or German?

Yes. English and German-language delivery are available. Agree the language of scoping, technical reporting and the debrief, together with responsible contacts and any translation requirements, in the proposal.

Can you test SaaS tenant isolation and API authorisation?

Yes, within a written, authorised scope. Provide representative tenants, user and administrator roles, API documentation and expected access rules. The engagement can then examine cross-tenant access, privilege boundaries and relevant business workflows.

Does a penetration test provide GDPR or NIS2 certification?

No. A penetration test supplies technical evidence for the assessed scope and time period; it does not itself certify compliance. Your responsible advisers and reviewers determine which obligations, provider criteria and additional evidence apply to your organisation.

Will all testing and evidence stay in Germany?

Germany-only processing or residency is not promised. Delivery is remote from Albania. Access locations, test data, evidence handling, report transfer, retention and any contractual requirements must be approved for the engagement before access is granted.

How are price, timing and retesting agreed?

Applications, roles, tenants, interfaces, access conditions and reporting needs determine effort. The proposal records price, currency, testing windows, deliverables and any retest. Send the customer's review deadline early rather than assuming a standard package will fit.
