Remote delivery for the United Kingdom

Penetration Testing Services for UK SaaS and Technology Teams

Commission an assessment that gives product owners, developers and customer security reviewers a shared view of risk. CyberSecurityArm provides independent remote testing for UK technology businesses, with delivery led by Florjan Llapi in Tirana, Albania.

    Discuss your testing scope

Start with the decision your UK buyer needs to make

    Procurement asks for testing evidence

Confirm what the buyer needs before choosing a provider: assessed systems, report age, provider eligibility, remediation status and report recipients. A scoped engagement gives the reviewer useful evidence without promising a procurement outcome.

    Product changes need assurance

Changes to single sign-on, administrator roles, tenant provisioning or integrations may create new routes to sensitive data. Prioritise the changed workflows and the existing controls they depend on.

Developers need a usable remediation plan

A finding should explain how the issue was reproduced, what it affects and what to fix. Plan a technical debrief and any retest around the people responsible for the affected service.

Web, API and supporting security scope

A UK software engagement starts with the service the buyer is evaluating and the boundaries your organisation can authorise. Agree customer and administrator roles, API access, representative tenants, third-party restrictions and the risk scenarios that matter to the product.

    Customer portals and SaaS applications

Assess access control, organisation boundaries, authentication, account recovery and business workflows. Include administrator features explicitly rather than assuming they are covered by a public-facing scan.

    APIs behind the customer journey

Review REST or GraphQL permissions, object-level access, token lifecycle and privileged functions across customer, staff and integration accounts.

    Supporting networks and identity

Where relevant, define separate infrastructure or Active Directory assessment boundaries, connectivity and authorised attack paths before adding them to the product engagement.

    Cloud-hosted services

Agree which cloud services, identities and configuration areas are included, who can authorise them, and whether the work is configuration review, active testing or both.

Check procurement eligibility before commissioning work

UK buyers can have provider requirements beyond technical skill. Send any accreditation or approved-provider condition during the initial discussion. CyberSecurityArm does not claim CREST company accreditation or NCSC CHECK approved-provider status. Florjan's OSCP+ and CEH are individual practitioner credentials and should be evaluated as such.

For commercial SaaS procurement, agree the evidence format with the customer before testing. The engagement can document scope, methods, findings and remediation status. A report supports a security review; it does not by itself certify compliance with ISO 27001, UK GDPR or another assurance framework.

A clear remote engagement for a UK working day

    Coordinate GMT or BST

Meeting, testing and escalation windows are agreed in the applicable UK time zone. Identify a technical contact who can address access problems and coordinate urgent findings while testing is under way.

    Define commercial terms

The proposal sets the scope, testing effort, deliverables, exclusions and any retest. Confirm price, invoice currency and contractual requirements as part of the engagement rather than relying on a generic package.

    Agree handling with your reviewers

Define who receives full technical findings and whether a redacted version is required. Data-handling, access, report transfer and retention conditions are agreed before sensitive evidence is exchanged.

Evidence that connects the review to remediation

The report should let risk owners understand business exposure and let engineers reproduce and fix the technical issue. A test records what was assessed at that time; ongoing security management remains necessary after delivery.

    • An executive assessment tied to the tested product or service
    • A record of authorised boundaries, testing dates, methods and limitations
    • Technical findings with evidence, severity, reproduction and remediation guidance
    • An agreed reporting debrief and a redacted review copy where required
    • Retest outcomes for the agreed fixes, with open items clearly identified

A UK procurement and scoping checklist

    1. 1Share the buyer's provider eligibility and reporting requirements first.
    2. 2Identify the service owner, risk owner and technical contact for the engagement.
    3. 3List roles, test accounts, APIs, tenant boundaries and third-party restrictions.
    4. 4Agree testing windows, permitted activity, stop conditions and report recipients.
    5. 5Plan remediation ownership and any retest before the review deadline.

    Direct practitioner accountability

Florjan Llapi holds OSCP+ and CEH credentials and leads the engagement from scoping through reporting and the agreed retest. The technical scope and buyer requirements determine the work delivered.

Recurring education technology engagements provide experience of software platforms used by learners and administrators. Zenva Schools shared the following public feedback about its work with Florjan.

    Questions from UK buyers

Are you a UK-based penetration testing company?

CyberSecurityArm is based in Tirana, Albania and provides remote testing to UK teams. Meeting, testing and escalation windows are agreed around GMT or BST as appropriate. No UK office or UK-only delivery is claimed.

Are you a CREST-accredited or CHECK provider?

CyberSecurityArm does not claim CREST company accreditation or NCSC CHECK approved-provider status. Florjan Llapi holds OSCP+ and CEH practitioner credentials. If a tender requires a particular provider status, confirm eligibility before commissioning work.

Can the report support a UK customer security questionnaire?

Yes, the agreed report can supply evidence of the tested scope, methods, findings and remediation status. Share the customer's requirements before testing; the customer decides whether the provider and evidence meet its criteria.

How do you choose between a scan and a penetration test?

A scan helps identify potential issues across assets. A scoped penetration test adds manual investigation of access control, business logic and attack paths. The scoping discussion should establish the assurance question and select the work that addresses it.

What determines cost and retest timing?

The applications, roles, API surface, infrastructure, access conditions and reporting needs determine testing effort. Price, invoice currency and retest scope or timing are recorded in the proposal. A generic turnaround is not guaranteed.

Discuss a penetration test for your UK service

Describe the service, approximate scope, buyer requirements and target deadline. Provider eligibility, testing windows and deliverables can then be addressed in the scoping discussion.

Do not include passwords, API keys, vulnerability details or other sensitive system information.
