Remote delivery for the United States

Penetration Testing Services for US SaaS and Technology Teams

Give your engineering team reproducible security findings and your customer reviewers a clear account of what was tested. CyberSecurityArm delivers independent remote penetration testing for US software businesses, led by Florjan Llapi from Tirana, Albania.

    Discuss your testing scope

A test planned around your next product or customer milestone

    Enterprise customer security review

When a prospect asks for independent testing evidence, start with its actual requirements: the product, test date, report format, provider criteria and remediation expectations. These determine the engagement rather than a generic compliance label.

A release changes the trust boundary

A new organization role, customer integration, API version or authentication flow can introduce paths that an earlier test never covered. Scope the changed behavior and its connections to existing functionality before launch.

    Remediation needs verification

An engineering fix should be checked against the original reproduction steps and related access paths. Agree a retest scope and reporting deadline so your team can demonstrate the status of the reported findings.

Web, API and supporting security scope

For a US SaaS product, start with customer and administrator roles, at least two test tenants where applicable, API documentation, and the workflows that handle valuable data. Add mobile, cloud or infrastructure work when the product architecture calls for it.

    Web application and tenant isolation

Authenticated dashboards, account recovery, permission changes, cross-tenant object access and business logic are tested within the authorized product scope.

    API and integration security

REST and GraphQL authorization, object access, token handling, privileged operations and integration boundaries are assessed using agreed test accounts.

    Cloud and exposed infrastructure

Include externally reachable services and relevant cloud identity or configuration review as separately defined work. Clarify provider permissions and the systems your team can authorize.

    Mobile apps and their backends

Where a mobile app is part of the customer journey, include iOS or Android behavior alongside its supporting API so the assessment covers the agreed end-to-end flow.

Useful security evidence for customer and assurance reviews

If you are preparing for a SOC 2 engagement or a customer questionnaire, share the requested security-testing evidence before commissioning work. A report can document the tested assets, dates, methods, findings and remediation status. The auditor or customer decides whether it meets the requirement; a penetration test does not itself confer SOC 2 certification or guarantee acceptance.

A practical SaaS scope follows the product's risk boundaries. It can include tenant separation, roles, APIs and cloud components without treating every reachable asset as automatically authorized. Manual analysis and targeted tools are used together, with OWASP WSTG for web testing and PTES informing the engagement workflow.

Working with a US team from Albania

    Agree the time zone explicitly

Record meeting, testing and escalation windows with your team's time zone and the applicable daylight-saving dates. Availability is confirmed in the proposal; full US business-hours coverage is not assumed.

    Make the proposal comparable

The proposal defines assets, roles, test modes, effort, exclusions, reporting and any retest. Price and invoice currency are confirmed for the engagement, with changes to scope agreed before additional testing.

    Keep engineering involved

Nominate a technical contact for access issues and urgent findings. Agree the evidence-exchange method, report recipients and any redacted customer-facing version before sharing sensitive material.

Reporting your developers and customer reviewers can use

A point-in-time assessment should make its limitations as clear as its findings. The agreed report package gives engineering a path to remediation and reviewers enough context to understand the tested scope.

    • An executive summary of material risks and the scope actually assessed
    • Testing dates, environments, methods, access provided and documented limitations
    • Reproduction steps, supporting evidence, risk ratings and remediation guidance
    • A redacted review copy when included in the agreed deliverables
    • A defined retest and updated finding status when included in the engagement

Bring these details to the scoping discussion

    1. 1Describe the customer review or release milestone and its deadline.
    2. 2List the applications, APIs, roles, integrations and environments to consider.
    3. 3Plan representative accounts and test tenants with synthetic data where possible.
    4. 4Identify the person authorized to approve scope and the technical escalation contact.
    5. 5Provide the reviewer requirements separately through an agreed channel; send no secrets in the enquiry form.

    Direct practitioner accountability

Florjan Llapi holds OSCP+ and CEH credentials and leads the engagement from scoping through reporting and the agreed retest. The technical scope and buyer requirements determine the work delivered.

Recurring education technology engagements provide experience of software platforms used by learners and administrators. Zenva Schools shared the following public feedback about its work with Florjan.

    Questions from US buyers

Can you test a US SaaS platform remotely?

Yes. Authorized web applications, APIs and other reachable assets can be assessed remotely. Access, test accounts, testing windows and escalation contacts are agreed before work begins. CyberSecurityArm is based in Tirana, Albania.

Will the test satisfy SOC 2 or our enterprise customer?

The engagement can produce security-testing evidence for review, but acceptance depends on the auditor or customer's specific requirements. Share those requirements during scoping. A penetration test is not a SOC 2 audit or a guarantee of certification.

    Can you test cross-tenant authorization?

Yes, where included in scope and suitable test tenants and roles are supplied. Testing can examine object access, organization boundaries, role changes and related API operations, using agreed data and authorization boundaries.

How much does a US penetration test cost?

Price depends on the applications, API surface, roles, integrations, test mode and reporting or retest needs. The proposal records the agreed scope, effort, price and invoice currency. No fixed price or turnaround is promised before scoping.

Can the test run against production?

The appropriate environment is decided during scoping. If production is included, the rules of engagement define test accounts, permitted techniques, testing windows, stop conditions and escalation. Testing requires written authorization and cannot guarantee zero operational impact.
